What is Daffodil Days?
Daffodil Days is one of the American Cancer Society's oldest and most beloved fundraising programs that provides hope to everyone touched by cancer by offering daffodils to donors in appreciation of their contributions. As the first flower of spring, the daffodil represents hope and renewal.
Daffodil Days is an opportunity for people to join the American Cancer Society vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Dollars raised through Daffodil Days help improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. Through the daffodil, the first flower of spring, this campaign is a symbol of hope to cancer patients and those affected by the disease.
From NOW till February 21st, you can order some daffodils to brighten your day or someone else’s on March 23rd. Please stop by the 7th Floor commissioners office in the County City Building and for every $10.00 you donate, you will receive one bunch of beautiful, fresh-cut daffodils. For a $25.00 donation, you can give a Gift of Hope, a bloomed bunch of Daffodils in a vase, delivered to a cancer patient currently in treatment. We can deliver the flowers for you if wish to brighten someone’s day. We will only deliver within the County-City Building. Any other county buildings, you will need to pick up the flowers once they are present. We will keep you informed of their arrival on March 23rd, 2023.
Every cancer. Every life.
Give Daffodils. Give Hope.
Thanks for your support!
