Document Request
Purpose
The Records Management Division of the Clerk’s Office is the repository (along with County Archives) of all disposed case files from St. Joseph County Courts, with the exception of the Probate Court. The Office is located in the basement of the Main Court House. Mishawaka and Probate cases are located in their Clerk’s Offices. Disposed case files are kept for three (3) years and then stored off-site at the County Archives. If you need a disposed flat file for a hearing, please notify the clerk to order it well in advance of your hearing. It takes a minimum of 48 hours before we will receive the file from Archives.
