Certified Copies of Marriage License/Dissolution of Marriage

Obtain a Copy

One certified copy of your marriage license can be paid for when you apply for your license.  It will be mailed to you at the address provided to us at the time you apply.  

You may obtain additional copies of your license in person or online.  

Only licenses issued in St Joseph County, Indiana are available from this office.

Make a secure payment at the time of request by credit card.  Documents available are marriage license, marriage application and dissolution of marriage.

You may request certified or uncertified copies.  A convenience fee of $10.00 per transaction will be assessed.

In Person 

You may also obtain a certified copy of your license in person. Please return to the office where you applied for the license. The cost is $1 per copy of the license and $3 per certification.
