On November 15, 2020 the state implemented guidelines for the color-coded system to inform Hoosiers about the status of COVID-19 in each county. Weekly status map
Social Gatherings, Special or seasonal events over 250 (blue status)/100 (yellow status)/50 (orange status)/25 (red status) should follow the color-coded requirements based on Executive Order 21-09.
Beginning on April 6, 2021 any social gathering or event where the total number of individuals expected to be in attendance will exceed the number based on the color code, may submit an event safety plan at least 7 days in advance of the event for the Department of Health’s review.
Local Health Departments are responsible for receiving event plans, and while express approval is not mandatory, local health departments may deny event plans or request modifications to event plans.
